Satrajit Sanyal

Sanjukta Mukherjee is an alumnus of the U.S. State Department’s prestigious International Visitor’s Leadership Program, where she was sent to 7 states of the United States to study Policy, Governance and Entrepreneurship and has been working with the US Embassy and the Kolkata Consulate in the above-mentioned fields as well. She is a Policy Leader, working in Just Transition, Sustainability, Gender, Environmental Governance and a Law Practitioner who has been working over the last 20+ years in the fields of advocacy, policy analysis, corporate and external communication, ESG & sustainability strategy and organizational optimization of processes. She has been developing gender focussed, selfsufficient clusters of MSME units. She facilitates companies in adopting the policy frameworks, standards and SDGs with special focus on climate and environmental responsiveness. Proactively involved in offering advisory and aid in her role as a trained and practicing governance advocate and mediator helping them overcome internal and external constraints, helping her client concerns in acquiring adaptive resilience and green practices in their business practices. A practitioner and advocate in the areas of climate and gender empowerment, as well as the extended framework of Just Transitions and Human Rights, Sanjukta works as a social entrepreneur building discourses and helping client ecologies transition from rigid to resilient, combating VUCA and aligning to Future of Work. She has served in the Confederation of Indian Industry & the Indian Chamber of Commerce as Deputy Director and Head of Division (Centre of Excellence), and as Advisor to the DG, Merchant Chamber of Commerce where she helped design and administer the Centre of Excellence set up during her tenure. Her experience in Public Diplomacy, Discourse & Narrative Building and Public Policy Advisory spans over 15 years in service and as an industry advisor and social entrepreneur.
